We Oversee the Largest State Defense Force Community On The Internet.

We are a NonProfit Organization.

We are not a 501(c)(3) yet, we are in the process of attaining this status.

The purpose of the State Guard & Defense Force Council is to oversee the three departments within our organization, StateDefenseForce.com, StateDefenseForce.com Online Store, and Commanders Briefing Podcast. Our council is made up of experts that help direct each program so they can provide the best content and information to every State Guard & State Defense Force Soldier.

OUR HISTORY

The State Guard & Defense Force Council traces its history back from October of 2005. We originally were known as Home Guard Armory with the same purpose and mission as StateDefenseForce.com, to provide the latest news and information of State Defense Force training, events & missions.

In 2008 we changed the name of our organization to StateDefenseForce.com. We made this change so we can provide easier access to State Defense Force news and content.

In February of 2021, we published our first podcast, Commanders Briefing, where we sit down with the Commanding Generals of the State Defense Forces / State Guards. Since then we had on numerous guests from State Defense Force Generals to the NY National Guard Adjutant General (TAG).

In March of 2021, we unveiled our State Defense Force Online Store. We wanted to provide an avenue where State Defense Forces can get access to State Defense Force / State Guard Apparel & Accessories. Since its inception we have partnered with the Maryland Defense Force to be their official merchandiser.

Going into the future, we intend to continue to provide these amazing services.

In October of 2022, The State Guard & Defense Force Council became a registered as a NonProfit Organization.

Jean Marciniak

Founder

The Original Founder of Home Guard Armory, StateDefenseForce.com, StateDefenseForce.com Online Store, & Commanders Briefing. Jean created and manages each website and oversees each department.

Maggie Marciniak

Manager

Maggie oversees the social aspects of StateDefenseForce.com as well as the Facebook Group. She is also an advisor on State Guard & Defense Force Council.

Joe Ronda

Social Media Manager

Joe manages the Facebook Group of StateDefenseForce.com. He ensures ever member does not violate any rules or guidelines of Facebook or Group Policies. SFC Ronda is a Prior Service Marine and a Sergeant First Class in the New York Guard.

Mark Getman

Social Media Manager & NY Guard Expert

Mark helps manage the Facebook Group of StateDefenseForce.com. He is also a Group Expert in regards to any content concerning The New York Guard (State Defense Force). Mark is a veteran of the Army National Guard and a Captain in The New York Guard.
